Regeneron expects continuing demand for its COVID-19 therapy

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (REGN.O) reported a better-than-expected quarterly profit on Thursday and said it expects demand for its COVID-19 antibody therapy to hold up even as vaccination efforts across the United States intensify.

The comments were in contrast to those by rival Eli Lilly and Co (LLY.N), which last month trimmed its 2021 profit target as demand for Lilly’s COVID-19 antibody therapies took a hit due to vaccinations. read more
